Easy to set up reminders

Needed something to send reminders to clients and found GoReminders. It was pretty easy to get started, even for me who isn't super techy. I used the SMS appointment reminders for my small shop. My clients seem to like getting the texts. It saved me a bunch of time not having to call everyone myself. The online booking system part also worked out nicely. Made things feel more organized.

Good for reducing no-shows

I signed up for the 14-day free trial of GoReminders to try out their Automated SMS appointment reminders for my small salon. Setting up the custom message templates was straightforward, and linking it with my Google Calendar was pretty seamless. I really liked the two-way business texting feature; it let clients confirm or reschedule easily. I saw a noticeable drop in no-shows within the first week, which was a huge relief. The mobile app reminders worked well for me on the go. The only minor hiccup was figuring out the recurring appointment scheduling for some clients, but I got there. Overall, it delivered on what it promised.

How does this compare to something like Calendly or Acuity? I'm using Calendly now but thinking of switching.

I switched from Calendly to GoReminders last year. GoReminders felt way more focused on just the reminders and texting, which is what I needed. Calendly was a bit much.

GoReminders is super strong on the actual reminder part and two-way texting. If you do a lot of recurring stuff or need HIPAA compliance, it might be better than Calendly or Acuity. They all do booking, but the reminder features here feel more robust.

It definitely does! I use it with my Google Calendar every day, it pulls all my appointments right in so I don't have to manually add them to GoReminders. Saves a ton of time.

Thinking of signing up for this, but wondering if there's any way to try it out first? Don't wanna commit without seeing how it actually works.

Yeah, they totally have a free trial. I used it for a couple weeks before I decided to pay. No credit card needed either, which was nice.

Is there a discount if I pay for the whole year upfront? Or is it just month-to-month?

D David 1 month ago
Yeah, you save like 20% if you go with the annual plan. It's a pretty good deal.

There's usually a pretty solid discount for annual billing. I think it's automatically applied when you select the yearly option during checkout, no special code needed.
